A fun class of painting and stencilling fabric to use as background fabric, then apply the hexagons. There is no pattern supplied but there will be lots of guidance to help participants create an individual piece of art.  Paints and stencils will be supplied by the tutor at a small fee. Some pre-class work will be required to prepare the hexagons.

• Planning the use of colour and design
• Applying paint to create a dyed look
• Using colour sticks and stencils
• Quilting to enhance the project
• The use of stitches and thread types to enhance the project
• Finishing Techniques

Date/Time:  This is a 2-day class on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April 2024 from 10.00am – 3.00pm both days.

Skill Level:  Beginners. You must be able to competently use your sewing machine.
